Fernie has such a sweet disposition. Her smile lights up a room. Gotta love her one little curl!
Each morning Jack still looks out the window and asks "nice day?" If it's nice out he says "Oooh, nice day" and if it's raining he says "Oooh rainy day"! This day was very nice indeed...perfect for swinging.
Jack loves putting his hands in his pockets...he gets so excited when discovers pockets in his pants/shorts/shirt. He refers to himself as "big guy".
After this bike ride Jack said "Jack's knees hurt." I realized the seat is too far forward...a weekend project for Daddy!
After filling the "wog-wog can" 100+ times...my mom suggested filling a bucket so Jack could fill his own can. Great suggestion Mom!
We've spent HOURS playing with the bucket.
Jack LOVES it!
Little Fernie LOVES her thumb...She tries to play with toys AND suck her thumb!
Jack is quite the little handyman!
And very much Papa's helper!
Daddy brought both kids downstairs one morning. I love how Jack is holding Fernie's hand.
Even blurry Fernie is a VERY happy girl!
The highlight of our weekend is Papa's visit. First things first, BOOKS! Fernie even helped turn the pages.
Just had to share, Fernie looked so cute on the way to church this morning.
Jack's first stop with Papa...the zoo.
Jack's focus on this zoo trip was the corn. Papa helped him collect corn and feed the animals.
Papa, Daddy and Jack.
A little boy gave Jack some popcorn to feed the prairie dogs (probably frowned upon by zoo staff) so Jack was trying to watch the prairie dog eat the popcorn.
We are so blessed to have wonderful extended family!
Jack just can't get enough of this book.
Dominos with Papa.
Fernie got some very special one-on-one time with Papa...
Until Jack woke up!
A day wouldn't be complete without a game of baseball with Papa.
More Papa pictures to come, he is staying with us until Wednesday :) Jack still wants to take Papa to the park, the swimming pool and the ice cream store!
