The roll!

Well Fernie did it, she ROLLED OVER!  I can't believe it.  She had rolled over a few times in her crib but we never saw her do it.  One day she started screaming in her crib so I went to check on her...this is how I found her.  No wonder she wasn't happy :(  (I have a video but I can't get it to load...I will try again next week)

Our little girl is getting so BIG.  She had her 4 month appointment last week (a little late I know).  She weighs 15.8lbs and is 25" long.  It was funny the doctor was trying to look in her ears but Fernie kept turning her head.  Finally the Dr. looked at me said, "I feel like her dad is looking right at me...well with chubby cheeks"!  She definitely looks like her daddy.

I get to play airplane with daddy too.

"Catch daddy!"

Our sweet little Lucy was like a little mother to the kids while she stayed with us.  She was always by someones side.

Like her brother, Fernie always has her leg in the air.

"Hi Mommy!"

I just laughed when I saw this picture last night.  This is how I feel some days!

Lucy really liked the boppy.

This weekend it was non-member day at Sams so we decided to walk around.  It was cold and rainy so we couldn't do anything outside.  Papa and Nana met us for lunch. Jack was very happy to eat with Papa and Nana.

I love this picture because it a TRUE Jack smile.  Jack has the sweetest smile and laugh.  Most of the pictures I take of him I get the "cheese" smile.

"We can both play on this, OK?!"

Of course we had to try the samples.  Jack loved that he got his OWN ice cream!

While we waiting for the Dr. at Fernie's appointment, Jack informed me he was the doctor and he was "workin'".

I can just hear him asking "next tore (store) Mommy?"

I love my toes!

Our little Perch is doing so well in swimming.  He gets braver at each lesson...It's hard to see but he is swimming all by himself!!!

Through the hoop.

I thought this picture was so sweet.  Jack eating his snack, Lucy in the background and Jack's cup placed right in the middle of the shelf.

Jack WANTED to swim on his back...that's HUGE!

Had I known he was going to push this all over the yard I would have filled it with fertilizer!

"I know I can toss this as high as Daddy..."

Our "tool" man finally got his own tools.  I was driving by a thrift shop and saw this setting outside.  I went in to check the price to make sure I read the sticker correctly...$2.99!!  I don't think I could find my $5 fast enough ;)  It's missing a few parts but for $2.99 I'm not complaining and Jack doesn't know differently!

Jack newest thing is to stop and look at EVERY ant and ant hill!

"I know I can swim AND still hang on to this ball!"

This smile makes me so happy.

Jack loves to jump in...we've come a long way!

I can't remember what he is looking at but he's pretty serious.

Jack helped get Papa's mail while he was out of town.  He was so proud to carry this package inside the house.

Fernie loves being outside with big brother.

Fernie legs are getting stronger and stronger each day. She loves "standing".

2:00

On this particular day Jack wanted to push his stroller...

Fernie is always up for a stroller ride.

Enjoying the baby Einstein more and more each day!

A VERY happy baby...

Nana bought Jack this robe a while back..little did we know how useful it would be! (sorry for the very blurry pictures, it was taken behind the glass!)

Such a good swimmer.

Swimming to get the ball.

Each lesson the teacher brings out this turtle raft this is the closest Jack has ever come to staying on the raft.  It lasted about 2 seconds!

Fernie and I watching from the observation seats...I think Fernie wants to go swimming too!

Jack stopping to smell the roses tulips!

Just give him a watering can and he is happy!  No plant or flower will go thirsty this year :)

Buddies.

Poor Fernie, always in the stroller...

Jack received a new bubble wand.  He LOVES it.

Tummy and reading time.

You need strong abs to keep those feet up.

"NO more pictures, PLEASE!"  (check out my neck rolls)

Monkey see, monkey do...

GiGi loves baby Fern.

What a smiler.  This was taken right before the video below...

We are dog-sitting this week.  Lucy is a very good guard dog.

Jack has taken his duties of letting Lucy IN and OUT very seriously.
Cute story:  Jack and I were throwing treats for Lucy and she couldn't find one so Zack said, "Lucy use your sniffer!"  Jack can't say "sniffer" so he says "nicker".  Jack can't say "S"s or "F"s very well.  Now when we throw treats Jack says "Lucy, nicker nicker"!!!

This picture belongs with the collage of other smiling pictures but for some reason I can't figure out how to move it up!
2 out of three looking at the camera...I'll take it!

Our little Fernie rolled over last night.  Neither Zack or I have seen it but she has done it twice in her crib.  She was not very happy about it either.  When Fernie wakes up she is usually talking but yesterday afternoon she started crying very loudly.  I went to check on her and sure enough she was on her tummy.  The same thing happened during her nap today!

One of Jack's new things is "time".  One day I asked him when Daddy was coming home.  He told me 2:00.  So now anytime you ask him when something is going to happen it's 2:00!

Fernie makes this funny noise with her lips...I was imitating her and she thought it was funny!

Fernie is one wiggly baby...

Just a little outside fun with Jack!
