Beautiful Baby Shower...

This week Baby P and I were treated to a very beautiful baby shower hosted by my wonderful sister, cousin and friend. So much thought and love was poured into the shower. My aunt even made the famous family red cake and it was good! I know everyone had an amazing time with family and friends.

Baby P update: 29 weeks today!!! According to the books, the baby is growing quickly. He weighs about 2.5lbs (feels like much more!!!) and is over 15 inches long from head to heel. Each day Zack and I get more excited to meet him and see his sweet face.

The amazing shower hosts - Nicole Thompson, Brit Elwell and Pam McBride
Everything had a perfect place, the food was GREAT!

Even green punch!
More adorable clothes...

We are so excited to put the nursery together.

We even received gifts from my best friend Rose!

Rose loves the Bumbo seat.

For all those playdates with Grandpa in the dirt!

July...

July is passing too quickly. I can’t believe July is half way over! I realized that I have not given any updates on the garden this summer. While Zack and I get to enjoy having the garden at our house, my father has loved and cared for this garden all year (THANKS Dad!). The fruits of his labor are greatly paying off. We have received so much rain this year everything is very green as you will see in the pictures below.

I can taste those green beans already!

Is that a tomato I see??!? Yum!
Of course I need to give an update on Baby P - Baby P weighs two and a quarter pounds and measures almost 15 inches from head to heel. The book says he can open and close his eyes, which by the way has eyelashes!! I wonder what color eyes he will have – brown or blue!?!? We picked up our crib last weekend so when we get that assembled and start arranging the nursery I will post some pictures. (Although I did post two pictures of moving the crib and dresser into the house.) We are delaying the crib assembly because we are having carpet installed in the nursery in early August. Baby P and I have the wonderful pleasure of being treated to a baby shower later this week! We are both very excited, I will post pictures next weekend!

Busy, busy, busy...

What a week! So much has happened this past week I don’t even know where to start. I will do my best to let the pictures tell the story. This past week Zack’s parents, sister and brother-in-law came to visit. While they were here Baby P had his first baby shower, we visited my favorite place in ND and celebrated the 4th of July with family and friends.

First things first: Baby P update - Baby P weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches from head to heel. The book says that is about the size of a cucumber, hard to imagine that. We had our 26 week appointment today and we both received a clean bill of health. I even had my test for have gestational diabetes and everything came out OK!

The week started out with an awesome couples baby shower! We had a great time. The attention to detail was amazing. The theme was helping Zack and I feather our nest!

Each table had purple flowers with a little nest of blue M&M eggs.

The cutest cupcakes decorated like baby birds in a nest!

Baby P will be dressed to the 9's!
Our wonderful shower hosts - Matt and Emily. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The grandparents-to-be along with parents-to-be.
Medora is one of the beautiful places you will ever see.
A trip to Medora MUST include a stop for ice cream!
Enjoying a great dinner outside before the fireworks.
