Parks, pumpkins and potty

I think if there was an award for "busiest-kids-ever", our kids would be top contenders for first place!!!
"Would it be okay if I ate this???"
I had Jack take Fernie down the slide...Jack loved it, Fernie wasn't so sure!
 Reading time before work.
I know I say this ALL THE TIME but Fernie is SO happy!  And she loves to eat :)
Our annual trip to the pumpkin patch!  I bought this little sweater before we had kids.  I'm so glad we had a girl!

 Silly boy!
Nana and Papa joined us at the patch.  Jack LOVES doing things with Nana and Papa.
I thought this was a cool picture!
Jack received some play dough for his birthday. He asks almost every day to play with it.
It's been getting cooler but we had a few "warm" days so we headed to the park.
I know this hat is too small but I couldn't find her other one...she's still happy!
Our little Fernie loves to eat.  I know she eats way more than Jack did at this age.  With that said, Fernie is moving WAY more that Jack ever did at this age.  She is on the go ALL the time.
EVERYTHING goes in her mouth. She can find the tiniest thing on the floor...good incentive to keep a clean house!  Forget walking, this girl is running!
Zack had mowed the day before and Jack just HAD to do the same!
 "I love blueberries!"
It was a big weekend in the Pelham household...Jack told us he needed to use the potty!!!  He's doing GREAT...the chocolate chips, marshmallows, and suckers probably help!

Birthday Week!

Tuesday was a GOOD day!!!  Our sweet little Jack turned 3...where oh where did that time go???  Jack had a VERY exciting day!  It started out with caramel rolls, orange juice, and a balloon.
Then while Fernie slept, Jack and I picked carrots...yes I made him work on his birthday!

He was so proud to carry the carrots in the house.
We were not in the house but 5 minutes and Nana and Papa showed up with a birthday surprise!
Fernie celebrated Jack's birthday by learning how to clap!!!  She will roar like a lion and then clap :)
She also found a new hiding place.
Later that day Jack received a package in the mail.  He thoroughly enjoyed opening his gifts.  I laughed at this picture because Fernie is totally eyeing the wrapping!
That night we had a little family party for Jack.  He blew out all his candles with gusto!
Who wouldn't want a giant Curious George?!?!
The next day Jack and I started getting ready for his friend party...time to fill the pinata!
Jack woke up from his nap and had some birthday visitors.
Fernie is ALL over the place...she is walking ALL THE TIME!
The morning of the friend party Zack and Jack had to test the pinata...
Fernie took in ALL the action of the party!
The first activity:  a shoot out!
 Second activity:  Pinata
Fernie took good notes for her birthday!
The next series of pictures is very funny...this is the final swing before the pinata breaks...
 WOW!!!
Notice who is first to pick up candy...he had been waiting SOOO long for that candy!!!
 Check out that stash!
Next activity:  Pizza. The kids did so well eating.  Only one spill and it was Jack because he squeezed his juice box too hard.
Next we did presents and CAKE!
All in all this kiddo had a great day week!  We look forward to what the 3's bring. Jack is growing by leaps and bounds these days. It's amazing some of the things he notices and says.  We love our little buddy SO much!

Monkey see, monkey do already?!?!  Fernie was trying so hard to keep up with Jack.
 My precious baby girl!

Happy, Happy, Happy

This makes my heart happy...the kids having fun together!
We had a house guest for a few weeks and thankfully it was nice outside to go on walks.  Jack took his duties very seriously...

Apparently Jack went through withdrawals after Lucy left and the bike had to do!
This is Fernie's new thing...she LOVES to look out THIS window.  She will stand there for the longest time just looking out!
 "These prunes are DELICIOUS!!!"

I laughed OUT LOUD when I saw this picture.  First I had forgotten I took it and then Jack's face cracked me up!  Here I thought he was smiling nicely...
This girl is sooo happy.  Just looking at her makes me smile.
Jack started AWANA...he is a Cubbie!  I have to say he is doing exceptionally well.  I wasn't sure how he would do (not to mention it starts at 6:30p and we are usually winding down for bed at that time)  He learns his verse EVERY week and sings the Cubbie song with gusto!
 Spending time with Gigi.
Jack is a GREAT big brother..unless you takes his toys!
 I'm 10 months old already!!!

We took Jack to his first football game a few weekends ago.  He had a great time but wasn't a fan of the loud noises.
"What do you mean I can't talk during church???"

Someone is turning 3 on Tuesday!!!
