5 months old!

Jack is 5 months old! He changes every day. He is “talking” more and more. He gets very excited when you lay him on the play mat – he kicks his legs and squeals. He now likes to stand and look around. Yesterday we had to raise the seat in his Baby Einstein because his legs are getting longer. On Monday Jack helped daddy celebrate his birthday!! Theses days EVERYTHING goes in his mouth.

He is so wiggly now, it's hard to get a good picture...
He can be such a ham!
He really likes his swing...it took him a while to get used to it!
He is so proper...I have several pictures where he has one hand on the other
We have the TV off when he is awake but yesterday we wanted to watch the Tsunami updates for Hawaii...he was glued to the TV. NO more TV for Jack!
Fun reading time with Grandpa Jensen.
We encourage reading books but not eating them!

18 weeks!

Happy Valentines Day from the Pelhams! We had a great valentine surprise: Grandpa Pelham came to visit. Jack had a wonderful time playing with Grandpa. We were all sad to see him go. My mom made a wonderful valentine dinner and decorated cute valentine cookies for us. Jack is doing well, we had his 4 month appointment last week: 16.3 lbs and 25 1/2 inches long. He also had another round of shots – he did well…probably better us. He is on a pretty good sleeping schedule, wakes up twice during the night to eat. He is really enjoying his play time!

"Hmmm do I get one of those?"

4 months

Jack was 4 months last Friday. He is growing and changing so much. We spend every minute of his awake time reading, playing with toys, listening to music, exploring the house, playing on our tummies (us too!), and sitting in the Bumbo seat (just him!). Apparently when we read to Jack, he feels like he need to read along so he babbles the whole time we read to him!

This is one of my favorite pictures of him...he's admiring himself in the mirror!!!
Jack really likes his taggie blanket. Usually he is using his fingers to touch the tags not his tongue!
Very serious...

He is really getting to like his Baby Einstein. His feet barely touch the ground.
Hi!!
Just chillin'
On the way to MOPS

Finally, I word from Jack:
