Overload!!

**Warning TOO many pictures only a mother can love**

Blogging hiatus = picture overload!

This picture melts my heart.  I hope my children appreciate music as much as I do!
I love the contrast in this picture.
Fernie is starting to feed herself...well, she likes to hold the spoon anyway!
Jack received this awesome wallet, he was sooo excited when he opened it.  This wasn't any old wallet, it came with 2 dollar bills and coins!!  I took Jack to Target with me and as I was paying he said something but I was preoccupied with paying.  Finally the clerk said something and pointed at Jack.  I looked down and he was holding his 2 dollar bills up for me to use!!
We might have another bookworm on our hands...

I am walking a fine line with Fernie in that I want her to be girly but not too girly...this is a good compromise!!!!!!!!

Always fun times with GiGi.
This little sweetie is one happy girl...unless you tell her NO!  Then she throws a fit or starts crying.  Her new thing is to put her food in her hair.  When you say "No, Fernie". She just looks at you sticks her lip out and starts crying. It's so sad.

Fernie is a hugger and a kisser!
We had a few days of UNBELIEVABLE weather.  Definitely her mother's daughter...
 Maybe a future ballerina...
 Thank goodness for galoshes!
Only in good 'ol ND do you make a snow sandcastle!
Book time with Dad after a nap.
 "The Thinker"
(I would love to know what is going through her head)

This is one happy boy!
 "Can I go too?"
 Too cold outside for Fernie.

Tradition:  Hot Chocolate to warm up!
ENOUGH pictures Mom!

Happy Kids

We celebrated a very quick Valentines Day as we flew to NJ on the 14th.  Jack was happy as could be with his homemade card and suckers!
Fernie wasn't sure what to think...next year she will appreciate the sucker more!
Jack was very happy to see Papa and Nana again.  He was all smiles!

Uncle Ethan was kind enough to show Jack how to load his Pez dispenser.
While we were in NJ we spent some time at the Please Touch Museum in Philly.  It was a very nice museum, I would highly recommend it.  I feel terrible I don't have many pictures from this weekend but my phone was dying and who would think to use the camera!!!
At the airport RIGHT next to our gate was a play area sponsored by the Please Touch Museum.  The kids loved it...and the adults loved the Dunkin' Donuts right next door!!!
Jack was giving us a pretend ride on an airplane and said "We are at ND, time to get off mommy; we are at MI, time to get off Fernie; we at the police station, time to get off daddy"!!
As we were boarding the plane the pilot asked Jack if he would like to sit in the pilot's seat!!
Then he asked if he wanted to push a button...
On the 22nd we celebrated Zack's 35th birthday!!  Unfortunately Fernie picked up a stomach bug right after we returned from NJ...she was kind enough to share with Zack and I :(  Zack wasn't ready for cake for 3 days after his birthday!
 My two babies!
Fernie loves sitting at the desk!

This is how we roll in ND...
After making "snow castles" Jack needed some hot chocolate to warm up.
Only daddy gives you marshmallows and a thin mint with your hot chocolate!
I had to laugh when I saw this picture...poor Fernie is trying to see what everyone was doing!!!
It was 40 degrees so we thought we would take quick trip to the zoo! The animals were very active.

 Peek-a-boo!!
Taking advantage of the "warm" weather!
Fernie is such a sweetie.  She brought me this blue bow and wanted it in her hair.
Jack was invited to a bowling birthday party last week, he had a blast!  I didn't realize until after I looked at the pictures how protective he was of his bowling ball.
He got so excited to retrieve his ball from the ball return.
Maybe a little too possessive???

Fernie loves to go.  If she sees someone putting on their coat she will get her coat.  Tonight when the boys went to pick up the pizza she was so sad she couldn't go with....
Well I couldn't leave you with that sad picture so here are two happy pictures and a riddle...

Earlier this week we were on a walk and saw some dogs. Jack says to me:
Do you know who likes big dogs...he has a big head, big feet and big slippers???
After a few guesses I said "Daddy".
He started laughing and said Daddy likes big dogs and I like little dogs!
