'Tis the Season

Well after reviewing 558 pictures I now know why I'm exhausted.  We have done so much in the last three weeks.  I will do my best to cover it all!!!
We headed to MI for Thanksgiving.  We had a wonderful time!  I can't decide if this picture is cute or creepy with Zack in the background!
Always the best baths at Nana's.
 Jack loved Papa's chair!
Nana knows the way to Fernie's heart!
Jack was very excited about Thanksgiving.  This picture was taken a few hours before we took a quick trip to urgent care for Jack to get 4 stitches in his right eye.  He had an unfortunate run-in with the ottoman...
Nana made ornaments with the kids which are now proudly displayed on our Christmas tree.
Little Caroline had fun exploring around the house.  She is standing on everything.  Not much interest in walking but I'm okay with that for now!
Fernie loved all her craft activities.
We spent an afternoon at Aunt Sarah and Uncle Adam's new house.  Sarah had some fun crafts planned for the kids.  They LOVED it!

After vacation we hit the ground running!  First things first though, clean the house!  We realized Jack was closer to the ground than us and that made him PERFECT for dusting the baseboards.
One morning Zack was checking emails and I walked by and saw this....Jack and Fernie had both retrieved their own "laptops"!
Since I'm not very creative I do some birthday decorating (with purchased decorations) after the kids go to bed.  I like to get a picture of their initial reaction the next morning!
Fernie is very happy to be 3!  That afternoon she asked me "Mommy, am I still 3?"!!
Time to get our Christmas tree.  I think the kids were more excited about the cider and cookies!
I have a wonderful tree decorating helper.
He takes his job very seriously.
Caroline is all ready for Christmas!  It's hard to believe she is going to be one in ten days.  Her new thing is waving "Hi" and "Bye" and roaring like a dinosaur.
Nana and Papa were gracious enough to make Christmas cookies with the kiddos.  Let me tell you, the cookies were VERY decorated!
 "Let me OUT!"
Fernie had her birthday party last weekend - Doc McStuffin's all the way!  I love Fernie's smile in the background.

Jack was so excited to eat a Band-Aid.  (Kind of grossed me out.)
After the party Jack and I rang the Salvation Army bell. I wasn't sure if he would hang in there for the two full hours but he made it.  Thankfully there was a bench behind us where he could take a break.  He loved handing out the candy!

The next day we had our Church Christmas program.  Both kids did great.  They both wore little lamb ears and sang Away in the Manger.

Caroline chews on everything in sight!
Jack is like his Mama, always up for a game!
Caroline can be a night owl.  Personally I think she likes the one-on-one time with Mom and Dad...
Today we had Jack's school Christmas program.  Can you spot our wise man?  He did a great job!

Today at noon we took the kids to Rotary to meet Santa...

Jack was very excited to meet Santa.
Caroline was NOT excited to meet Santa and Fernie wouldn't even give him a chance...
So Dad had to be in the picture too!  Oh well, good memories!
Merry CHRISTmas Everyone!

This and That...

We began our month by doing our civic duty!
These next three pictures are funny because Caroline is getting into trouble and she LOVES it!
"Oooh playing cards, those are great for tearing!"
"I think I will take this one rrrriiiight here!"
 A lazy Friday morning selfie.
This little one is standing up on E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G.
... And she is very happy about it.
 Wind-blown Fernie!
"Come on Mom, let's play ball!"
 EVERY cowgirl needs a horse!
SWEET!
Jack is proudly wearing his shirt in support of his cousin Nomi.
 Watch out!!!
Self declared "Dr. Pelham or Dr. Furnie" is always giving someone a check-up.  Caroline is the lucky patient today.

"Hmmm who should I call today?"
 "WHAT it's Thanksgiving already?!?!?"
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
I am grateful for my God who loves me so much that he sent his Son to die for me.
I am thankful for my family who fills my heart with love and joy!
I am thankful for friends who do life with me.
