Cousins!

It's been an exciting week for Jack...Cousin Jensen is here!!! We went to the airport to give them a warm ND welcome. Many more pictures to come. Brit and I took the boys to get their pictures take so I will post some of those later.

Moving...

Well our busybody is starting to move...I've been online all morning researching gates and banister guards! Jack is getting very good at pulling himself up on things...but first Zack had his first official Fathers Day!!! Jack gave Zack his favorite treat and gave him a card saying "you are one cool dude!" Zack is an amazing father and it melts my heart when I see how much he loves our son.

Watch out, Jack is on the move!Since he is moving more, he is able to get things he couldn't before...

I removed the mirror from Jack's playmat and he loves playing with it.

More reading time with dad!

Last weekend we went to Ribfest! I think Jack is wishing Zack would share!

We also took a quick trip to our Heritage Center...Jack is a big young to understand what everything means but he at least looked around...

Sitting, Standing and Voting!!

More pictures of summer fun, the park, the zoo and reading with dad! But first, June 8th was a big day for Jack: His first vote!!

OK, back to summer fun! We found a new park close to our house, it's about a 15 minute walk. He wasn't so sure about the buffalo ride...
Jack is more impressed with the chain holding the swings in place than sitting in the swing.
This time, I went down the slide...Jack is trying so hard to stand...he pulls on whatever he can find to help him up. (Note to self: buy Jack a belt!) Saturday afternoon was so nice we took a quick trip to the zoo. The animals were much more lively this time. I think it was close to dinner time, the bears were pacing back and forth...The goats were hoping Jack had snacks in his tray.

On Tuesday I went to get Jack from his nap and this is what I found...Oh dear, time to lower the crib!

Swings, Slides and Community Service...

Another week of "firsts" for Jack. While on our walk around the YMCA we stopped at the park to try out the swing and slide. Jack really enjoyed the swing. I think Zack enjoyed pushing him even more! I think there are several park visits in our future.

Since we were at the park we thought we would try out the slide...The slide is obviously not make for 6'6" people!! Pretty sure I will be doing slide rides from now on. Zack's legs covered about 3/4 of the slide ;)

We went to my parents for a delicious Memorial Day BBQ. Jack loves kisses from dad.

Jack still enjoys putting his feet in the air...it's so funny to see. He puts his feet up in the stroller, his chair, the highchair...

Not the best picture of Jack and I (very windy)...Our Rotary club did some cleanup in the park last week so we thought it would be fun to take Jack. He did really well, just looked around while I walked about. The thing I am holding is my homemade trash picker-uper!!

It's that time of the year...the garden needs to be taken care of.

Jack loves his daddy...it was so great to have him home an extra day this weekend.
