OVERDUE!!!!!

Overdue indeed (the baby and the blog)!  Sweet Evan William arrived April 11 at 3:14pm. A very happy day for us all. He weighed 8.29 lbs and was 22 inches long.

Caroline wasn't so sure what to think of a new baby...(she has since adjusted very well!)
Jack is a very proud big brother.
Fernanda loves her brother very much!
 Evan is a snuggler.
Being a baby is hard work ;)

First bath....not a fan :(

A dad and his boy.
After Evan was born, life carried on...At the end of April, Jack had grandparents day at school.
The kids put on a great program for the grandparents.
 Those eyes.

"Can this horse go any faster?"
 Faster Daddy, Faster!!!!!

 They ADORE him!

The second week of May, Fernanda had her preschool program and sang her heart out!

Not very often I get them all smiling at the same time.

At the end of May, the kids had their AWANA program. They both worked very hard and received awards.

His head is outgrowing his hair ;)

 "No more pictures, please"
 Precious

Pile on Daddy!
"I'm all ready for t-ball Mama"
Jack played t-ball this summer.  He played very hard and had a great season.

Garden time!!!

During Fernanda's last week of school, she had field day.  I wasn't so sure how she would do but she had fun and took 1st place in two of the three competitions!!!

During Jack's last week of school, I chaperoned a class trip to the zoo!  I only had to take two nursing/diaper change breaks ;)
 T-ball every Sunday night!

Fernanda had an in-room program her final week of school. Oh she loves preschool.

I think the teacher felt bad for Caroline and asked if she wanted to join the kids for snacks.
After Fernanda's program, we headed down the hall to Jack's kindergarten graduation.

Class of 2028!  (I get choked up just typing that)

First day of summer selfie!
We kept busy this summer with a variety of activities!
Best place to play with play dough....OUTSIDE!!
Jack received some graduation money and treated us to Cold Stone - YUM!
 Evan is one happy baby.
This picture cracks me up, RIGHT after I took this he had a major blowout....that would explain the face!!
Jack went to music camp this summer.
 Pool shenanigans!
We did lots of bike riding.

I'm pretty sure we had a popsicle every day!

 I love him so!
He played his heart out this summer.

 Sweeping can be dangerous.
 Another great outside activity...painting!
 We had play dough Fridays!

I did it, I remembered the month sticker picture.  Sadly I missed the 1 month one but so far I have kept up...it may or not be the reminder on my phone ;)
At 2 months Evan weighed in at 14lbs 12oz (87%) and measured 25 inches long(98%).

 God bless America!

We also took swimming lessons this summer.

Best way to celebrate successful swimming lessons - donuts!

 A growing boy indeed!

This post brings us to August - phew!  Since then we have had a special family celebration and a family vacation. Hard to believe the kids are back in school and Evan turns 5 months today! I am one lucky mama, my heart is so full.
