Summer Fun and Medora 2018

Ahhh the first popsicle of the year!! Mmmmm
Parks are always a favorite in our family.

Putting the important "final" touches on the house...

Always a good time playing badminton with Papa.

The local minor league Larks baseball team offers a reading program to all schools.  If the kids read so many minutes a day they get prizes and free tickets to a Larks game.
This summer Jack and Fernanda went to basketball camp.
Jack's team won the Great Alaskan - a shoot-out in 15 minutes!
On June 11th Evan decided it was time for him to start riding his own bike.  He's never looked back!
Taking a break to catch up on scores.
Jack also went to baseball camp with his buddies.

We were getting ready to move the following week so I made lunch for the kids (much easier to pack sans kids) and went upstairs to finish packing...guess I was gone longer than I thought...
Papa and Nana came to visit and Nana treated the girls to mani-pedis!

Zack had a conference in Medora to we turned it into a little weekend get-a-way!  It was a western theme!
The kids and I spent a lot of time at the park while Zack worked.

Even Teddy Roosevelt stopped by to say Hi!
One Medora memory I have was eating caramel rolls at this little café...

We even took in a game of miniature golf.

A BEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One afternoon we took a scenic drive through the National Park.  God's creation is beautiful.

Kids thought this was too close...
Ice cream is a MUST in Medora.

We went to the Pitchfork Fondue before the Medora Musical.  Mmmm!

The kids went to stage with the singers.  I love how Jack is taking such good care of Evan.
 Practicing for their musical debuts.

A friend of ours was one of the performers so the kids went to say Hi after the show.
Another beautiful morning at the park (Evan is sleeping in the stroller)
The conference committee brought in a special presenter who illustrated and discussed the history of Dakota Territory and North Dakota. Kids and adults alike were intrigued!

Jack and Fernanda were invited to a pool party and did they have fun!!

 Bring on baseball and July!
