Spring started out with a BANG!!! I flew to IN to surprise my BEST FRIEND for her birthday. It was the first time leaving all four kids with Zack. Everyone survived and I think they even had fun without mom around!
She was SHOCKED! It was such a fun weekend.
I even went out of my comfort zone and did a craft. Didn't turn out too badly...
While I was gone the kids had an art show at school. Quite the little artists!
March 20th was a big day for kids...Dad came to school as a WATCH D.O.G. (Dads of Great Students). Zack was busy with preschool, kindergarten and 2nd grade. If I remember correctly he slept VERY well that night!
Football with the second graders.
Being quiet in the hallway with the preschoolers.
Lunch time!!
Recess...I think he did recess with all three kids...Brrrr!
Jack's teacher had someone come in a few times a week and teach the kids sign language. They were asked to perform a song in sign language during a Friday morning chapel.
Time for the annual bunny trail...Evan isn't so sure what to think...
Easter picture.
Our baby turned 2!! April 11, a day I will never forget!
April 20th was Grandparents Day at school. Jack was dressed nicer but already had taken off his shirt and tie by the time I took this picture.
Fernanda and Jack did a great job performing.
The first week of May was our last AWANA for the year. All three kids worked SO hard. Jack completed his last year of sparks. He received the highest award in Sparks and Fernanda is right on track to follow suit. Caroline finished a successful year of Cubbies, earning a ribbon.
The Startlight Ball! We told Fernanda in preschool she could go to the startlight ball when she was in kindergarten. I'm pretty sure she has been counting down the days since preschool. This year was extra special because Papa was going to take her because Zack was out of town for a trial. About 2 hours before it was time to go, I got a call from Zack saying he will be back in town to pick her up. She was so surprised and happy!!
On May 8th Caroline had her field day. She could hardly wait to get a medal like her brother and sister. She had a great time!
The parade of Athletes.
On May 11th Fernanda performed her class chapel. They told the story of Noah - very well done!
I had an awesome Mother's Day! It's hard not to when you are surrounded by all this love!
Caroline had her end of the year program. She also had a special award ceremony where she was given the Butterfly Award - given to someone for their ability to create beautiful illustrations and art work!
On May 22nd Fernanda had her Kindergarten Graduation!!! They even played Pomp and Circumstance...please pass the Kleenexes.
The LAST day of school FINALLY came!!! After that busy spring, I'm not sure who was more excited...the kids or me!!
Fernanda was invited to a party at an art studio.
Between the months of March and May Jack and Fernanda played basketball at the Y. They both had great teams and had a good time!
I just LOVE these people!
I could stare at this face F.O.R.E.V.E.R.
Ooooh and Evan continues to keep us busy. He managed to get into my makeup one afternoon...
But seriously, how could you be mad at this face???
After putting the girls to bed I went to put Jack to bed and found this...
Each year our 5th grade has a rummage sale to raise money for a selected charity. They each took their own money. Fernanda thought she hit the jackpot finding this guitar for $2!!!!!
The house is moving right along! It's amazing once everything is enclosed how quickly things move. Right now they are thinking we will move in June/July!
