It’s true, Zack and I are GOING TO HAVE A BABY!!!! Baby Pelham is due October 11, 2009. We are both very excited and can’t wait to meet our new little family member. We thought it would be fun to bring cookies to work when we tell people about the baby. We both brought a tray of cookies to work and for a few people that don’t work in our offices, I wrapped some cookies in little bags. We also shared some cookies with families this weekend. We are so excited for this huge change in our lives. I think every conversation we have now is about the baby!!

The snow is melting – finally! Although ND is on the radar for a thunderstorm and blizzard next week…I’m ready for summer. The last few months have been busy for us. The legislative session has kept me very busy at work and is demanding longer hours. Zack started teaching Jr. Achievement this past month which adds to the BSC class he already teaches. (Jr. Achievement only lasts 4 weeks though – he’s teaching 5th grade). During the legislative session cross-over weekend Zack and I took a long weekend trip to Minneapolis to get away (and of course, shop). My parents also came with so that was fun to spend some time with them away from the chaos of home! We have started March Madness so last night we got together with a bunch of friends and watched the games….well the guys watched the games and the girls chatted! We had the TV on in the background so we could keep an eye on the score. Since January Zack and I have been involved in a new Sunday school at our church and have enjoyed it very much. Our church really needed something for young families so a group of us got together and started a Sunday school for young families. We have had great interest and each week we have someone new!
