We have had some very nice days outside this Spring. In the last year Jack has really taken in interest in art. He loves to draw and color. I think the sidewalk is a dream-come-true sized drawing board for him!
"Look Mom, no hands!"
I will NEVER tire of this smile.
Jack has been working hard on his basketball skills...
I love his facial expressions.
Can't forget the layup!
"Oh the places I love to sit!!"
Time to clean the garage.
This little one is enjoying her new mode of transportation!
We are trying to encourage Fernie to ride the Strider bike because it helped Jack so much in riding his big boy bike. (She may have other plans for us!)
Some very serious practicing.
I got a quick wave as he ran by!
Daddy is definitely the best swing pusher!
Park time.
Every now and then we try to sneak in a reading session before Daddy has to go to work in the morning. Fernie is hiding from me, Jack is smiling for the camera and Caroline is in the corner chewing on a straw she stole from my water cup!
The Easter bunny delivered some treats via the USPS. The kids were thrilled!
Jack thought it would be fun to push Caroline while she rides on the lion...Caroline loved it!
The next activity of the day was to pull Caroline in the tunnel. Poor baby!
Time for Easter preparation:
Caroline provided the supervision.
We had another egg-dying session at our house so Daddy could participate!
The Easter bunny was very busy while the kids slept...he left a trail of goodies!
After she woke up, Caroline even had a trail to follow...
Before our delicious Easter meal there were some eggs to be found!
Caroline even found an egg or two!
This is one of my favorite times of the year...a time to remember the ultimate sacrifice our Lord and Savior made for us. While it is sad to think about what Jesus had to go though to pay for MY sins, I am happily reminded that he rose again and went on to prepare my eternal home.
Happy Easter from us, HE IS RISEN!!!
