Schools almost out and SUMMER!!!

For Jack's class chapel, May 19th, they did a program called the Gospel Fuzzies - it was designed to tell the salvation message.  It was really cute. Jack was asked to be the narrator, he did awesome!
Class of  2028.
My handsome narrator.
And more basketball...
Cheers to a fun season...I'm sure there will be more to come!

Finally the Last Day of School!!!
Fernanda moves on to Kindergarten this fall...
And Jack is a second grader!
Freedom!!!
This is the first morning they didn't have school :)
Whoever is holding Evan during snack time MUST share.
Baseball game + hot weather = freeze pops

On June 4th Fernanda also graduated from Preschool Sunday School to Kidzone!

...When you have two older sisters who like to play house...
In June Fernanda started tennis.  She really enjoyed it and did really well. She definitely was the best dressed player!

Practice, practice, practice.
We took Jack to baseball camp in June and Fernanda wanted a picture before he left.
Soooo happy!
What a good brother.
Waiting to pick up Jack from camp.  Caroline loves selfies!!!
Took a quick trip to Fargo with dad...a trip is not complete without a pool :)
After looking at all these pictures, I'm pretty sure we visited every park this summer!

Peek-a-boo!

At the end of June we headed to Michigan for a family wedding!  Never good when you have to visit the help desk... :/
A trip to the Henry Ford Museum.
A yellow car for Caroline.
Papa  and Nana with ALL the grandkids!
Even made it to a park in Michigan.
Cousin love.

Uncle Ethan!!!
Nana and two of her princesses!
Outdoor wedding time!
Be still my heart!

Our wedding crew.
Us!
Uncle Gus had a pretty cool swing in his  back yard.
I found some cute animals at the farm...
COUSINS!!!
Papa and Nana and their ND grandkids.
At least I don't need to worry if I accidently bump the seat in front of me ;)
"Wheeeeeeee!!!"

It goes much faster with Brother's help.

Once basketball was  over we were able to focus on baseball!  This year he moved up to Rookies - two games a week AND practice.  His favorite positions were pitcher, 1st base and catcher.
And he caught the ball!
Nice swing!
Throwing to first.
Aaaaand he's out!!!
The 2017 Marlins

In early July we headed to Michigan's UP to celebrate the life of Uncle Bud.  We were honored to be a part of the celebration.
Evan spending time with cousin Rob.
A fun trip to Lake Superior...Brrrr!

God's creation is AMAZING.
A happy 4th of July from the Pelhams!
Trying to be like Jack.
This one is a climber...I think he is taking notes from his ninja warrior brother!
There are some pretty cute prairie dogs at the zoo!
Parks, parks and more parks!
Trying to keep up with the rest...

Batter up!
One of Evan's favorite past times is to put a towel on his head and walk around...what a goof!!!
Always time for a game of cards.
Evan will bring the bat to Jack and want to play baseball.
A fun trip the local amusement park.  Thank goodness Zack likes rides!
Caroline had a fun riding partner - thanks Nana!
Not wanting Papa to miss out, the kids took him on the slide ;)

The last two weeks in July Fernanda attended Safety Village.
Here she is showing us pool safety.
And here she is demonstrating fire safety.
Reminding us that being safe is COOL!!!
Congrats Safety Village Graduate!

Evan had his 15 month check up yesterday and weighed in at 21lbs and 6oz and is 32 inches tall.  He is one BUSY little guy. He likes to walk/run from room to room taking things back and forth. He loves throwing things in the trash (and it's not always trash, we have found several non-trash items in there!).  He likes giving hugs and bringing you your things that he finds in various room...slippers, water bottles, shoes... His favorite words are Dada, Nana and  hi. He knows how to say Mama but just smiles at me when I ask him to do it - silly boy!!
"I dare you to catch me!"

Playing catch up...from April...

Once April hit things got BUSY!  Jack started playing basketball - he had practice on Thursday after school and had games on Saturday mornings. He really did a great job.  You could notice marked improvement from his first game to his last.

And  this is how Evan spent most of his car time driving back and forth to sporting events...Zzzz
In early May Fernanda learned  how to ride her bike without training wheels...in fact she never had training wheels!!  Every girl needs a princess bike helmet!
On a cold May day Fernanda had a field day at school.  She was so excited to participate.
My sideline buddy!
Jack and Fernanda finished strong with AWANA this year!
Warm spring mornings call for outside coloring.
At the end of April baseball started!
Getting that arm warmed up!
Working on his stance.
Working on his swing.
Such a happy baby!
The first game of the season!
One run for the Marlins!!!
This girl is full of smiles!
Evan's first ride on the swing...he wasn't so sure...
First slide ride.
It may be better with some help from a sister...

Jack enjoys helping Evan explore the park.

My park crew!
Fernanda's end of school program in May was awesome. She was a wolf in the skit, she did a great job!

She graduated pre-school this year...on to Kindergarten :(
They would go to a park everyday!

My little explorer...she LOVES water and dirt.
Jack was blessed to have Papa and Nana join him for grandparents day at school this year.
I walked into the living room and saw this...looking at the zoo map
So sweet!
At the beginning of the summer Fernanda needed help with the monkey bars...not anymore!!!
My baby boy turned 1in April...I still can't believe it.  I actually miss taking the monthly pictures, it was fun to see how he had changed and to see all the kids together.
At the age of 1 he weighed in at 20lbs, 10oz and was 30.25 inches tall and  100% perfect!
Since we were having a party that weekend, we just did a pie for his birthday day (I'm pretty sure he requested French silk  pie...). He was eager to have some pie!
Papa  and Nana came for the big party and lucky for us it fell over Easter weekend!
"Oh let me get my hands on that!!!"
"This is good stuff! I've sure been missing out!"
Presents!
The Easter bunny was at it again this year...not sure how he managed four trails but he did!!  (pardon the uncombed hair)

I am thankful EVERY day for these little sweethearts. They are each so special in their own way, we love them soooo much!
